Tony "Prizefighter" Pearson is a fearsome competitor who takes his football very seriously. Tony has excellent defensive attributes - adores a tackle, knocks a great ball, has good positional sense, is always up for a battle with any striker, and he can literally leap through the air like a salmon; his aerial ability is exceptional. Recently he has even turned his hand to free-kicks, as most of our efforts are woeful.


Tony has mellowed nicely in the last few years and seems to have gained control over his 'assertiveness'. A likable lad with a steely exterior but a gentle heart.
